The GEOS 11 has a replaceable battery. There are four total batteries in the GEOS 11, two for the instrument and two for the LED flashlight.
The GEOS 11 is powered by one CR2032 battery, with a second spare battery that does not need to be new. Replacing the battery is very simple, just remove the two screws on the back of the GEOS 11.
